Morning, Afternoon, and Evening everyone receiving and
reading this email! I hope you all are happy and in a comfortable chair while
reading this!
This week in Korea, we have still not found much success in
terms of the missionary work. People haven't been willing to talk to us much
but that's okay! It hasn't been for our lack of trying!
Adventures this week include an adventure to the traditional
marketplace in Gangneung. That was lots of fun, and if any of you have ever
been to a traditional Asian marketplace you know it's pretty hectic. Lots of
old people selling lots of things, and people just bustling about and being
busy.
Also learned some new food-making techniques, as I learned
how to make Ddukboggi and Samgyopsar! Both are delicious!
We haven't met with Oliver this week but that's not for a
lack of trying. He's just been really busy with some other stuff so we haven't
been able to meet. Probably this week, though!
And by the way, Sam (from my last area) has a baptismal
date! The other Elders out there are teaching him lots and I'm sure they're
doing a great job. Hopefully he can follow through and receive that ordinance!
That's about all the news I have for this week, so until
next time, stay classy, be of good cheer, and enjoy this picture of a crane...
from a distance!
Love and greetings to all,
~Elder Skinner
